RESTORATION DESIGN

The importance of conservation of architectural heritage is appropriated by Asteria Homes, yet we believe in the unspoiled traditional character of Kalkan as the most signifying aspect of this town. Particularly in the historical town center, we work on conservation projects through our architects in various levels and continuously receive feedback on this issue. Furthermore Asteria Homes had submitted its contracts of several restoration applications in the town.

In restoration projects, we issue architectural design and building supervision contracts in cooperation with architect Kutay Karabag, who is currently preparing his PhD thesis in the Restoration of Historical Heritage Department in Ankara, Turkey. As a joint venture, we provide our professional network of relations and academic know-how in restoration and conservation field.

Furthermore, we provide insight information specialized loan and grants for historical buildings. Through the process of restoration projects, which are required to achieve further level of expertise in restoration design, extra approvals and examinations are asked by the authorities in Turkey. Asteria Homes team is not only technically enough, but also cultivated know-how on legislative issue based on Ministry of Culture to satisfy these requirements.
